A UK study during the DWP refurbishment project found that 40% of type 3 surveys (now refurbishment or demolition surveys) had major errors and a staggering 80% of type 2 surveys (now management surveys) had major errors. With results like this it would be impossible to manage your asbestos with any degree of integrity.

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 puts a duty on the duty-holder to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises, which includes identification, assessment & inspection.
